The film will be preceded by a talk from Dr Leonie Tanczer, Lecturer in International Security and Emerging Technologies at University College London, who will explore the possibility that emerging “Internet of Things” technologies such as ‘smart’ meters, locks, and cameras, are creating new risks for victims of domestic abuse.
