The Cold War is at its height and top American physicist Dr Lucas Martino (Joseph Bova) is horribly injured in a car crash while attending a conference in East Germany. The film will be preceded by a talk from Professor Coral Dando, Professor of Psychology at University of Westminster and previously a Metropolitan police officer, who will discuss investigative interview techniques and how to detect deception.

Coral spent 12 years as a London Police Officer before entering academia in the field of psychology. She teaches forensic psychology, covering topics such as detecting deception, eyewitness memory and the psychology of torture and radicalisation. Her research on detecting deception has been funded by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the UK security services.
